HISTORY

In September 1999 a band named Shades was formed. They roamed the earth playing melodic rock/metal music and astonished everyone who witnessed their exceptional skills. But unfortunately the band was doomed by a never ending search for the right musicians to fulfil their further needs. Many felt they were the chosen one, none was meant to stay. Due to this fact, after 5 years of existence, the band slowly faded into oblivion until in 2006 a new ally was found in Raoul (ex-Ashlar).

With this new found guitar playing glory the band felt time had come to explore new horizons and choose a different path. That day SONS OF IRAH , a melodic and progressive B-tuned metal band, saw the light. This was the start of a new era and the addition of a new vocalist seemed like an obvious development. The now four headed collective would soon become a five piece. The standards were high, the search difficult, but in February 2007 they discovered a young talented screamer named Sören (ex-Setsthetime). From the start there was no doubt about him being the final member they had been looking for. The circle was finally concluded and the brothers started preparing themselves for a battle unknown to the eyes of man.

We are the Children of the Storm, we are the Sons of Irah.
